Darkest Fear by Harlan Coben

Coben is an Edgar Award winning author who can be a bit uneven at times.  But the books of his I have read are some of the best brain candy around.

Myron Bolitar was having one of those days when he’s told by an old flame that he’s the father of a 13-year old boy who is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant if he’s to survive.

Myron’s job is to find out what happened to the bone marrow donor before it’s too late.  While the book is quite suspenseful, it’s also very humorous.  I give this book a B+.
